1-1/2 cup blanched Honeyville almond flour (128 grams)
2 tsp. grain-free baking powder
2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. fresh ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Stevia Select powder, to taste
2 tbsp. raw honey** (See notes above)
2 tbsp. unsweetened applesauce** (Omit if using honey or granular sugar substitute. See notes above.)
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
4 large eggs
½ cup sour cream, yogurt, heavy cream or canned coconut milk (for dairy-free)
¼ cup salted butter, room temperature (or coconut oil for dairy-free and add a pinch of salt)

Cream Cheese Frosting

4 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
1/4 cup heavy cream
½ tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. Stevia Select powder, to taste
1/2 tbsp. raw honey (optional)
